Synalloy Expands on Marcegaglia U.S. Pipemaking Acquisition
29 May 2018 - Stainless and alloy pipe maker Bristol Metals LLC is rounding out its acquisition of Marcegaglia’s U.S. manufacturing operation, acquiring its galvanized tube operations near Pittsburgh, Pa., USA for US$10 million. The company also is acquiring the physical plant through a separate sale-leaseback arrangement for an additional US$10 million.

02 March 2017 - Synalloy Corp. subsidiary Bristol Metals has closed on its US$14.95 million acquisition of Marcegaglia USA’s pipe and tube operation in Pittsburgh, Pa., USA. The completed merger forms North America’s largest domestic producer of welded stainless pipe and mechanical tube, the company announced on Wednesday.

13 December 2016 - A subsidiary of Virginia-based Synalloy Corp. is acquiring the stainless pipe and tube operations of Marcegaglia USA for US$15 million to US$16 million, the company announced on Tuesday.
