27 December 2005 - The United States International Trade Commission (ITC) has failed to find a reasonable indication of real or threatened injury to a U.S. industry in regards to carbon and alloy steel wire rod imported from China, Germany, and Turkey that are allegedly sold in the United States at less than fair value.

Domestic Wire Rod Producers File Unfair Trade Cases Filed

11 November 2005 - Five domestic producers of carbon and alloy steel wire rod have filed antidumping duty petitions charging that dumped wire rod imports from P.R. China, Germany and Turkey cause material injury to the domestic industry. The petitioners allege antidumping margins of 330% for P.R. China, 42 to 82% for Germany, and 31 to 78% for Turkey.
