20 January 2009 - Total stainless steel imports reached 650,517 tons through the first ten months of 2008, a 1.4% decrease compared to YTD October 2007, according to the latest report from SSINA. Total specialty imports (comprising stainless steel, alloy tool steel and electrical steel) reached 833,209 tons in the same period, a 0.1% decrease compared to YTD October 2007.
