New Tata Steel Works Finding Its Stride
02/21/2017 - Tata Steel’s new Kalinganagar works in India has reached a new production milestone – it has achieved 2 million metric tons of hot metal, reports The (India) Economic Times.
According to The Times, the integrated facility doubled production in 133 days, having reached its first 1 million metric tons of production on 9 October 2016. The plant’s blast furnace was blown in on 28 February 2016.
