New Order for Tenova LOI Italimpianti in Saudi Arabia

11/11/2009 - The Tenova LOI Italimpianti business unit wins an order for the ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Jubail, in al Jubail Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for a seamless pipe mill.

Tenova, through its Tenova LOI Italimpianti business unit, recently won an important order for the ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Jubail, in al Jubail Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for a seamless pipe mill.
 
The plant owner is a joint venture of ArcelorMittal and Bin Jaralalh Group.
 
In the first phase, Tenova will supply one rotary hearth furnace for the hot mill and one heat treating line consisting of one hardening furnace and quench system and one tempering furnace and related material handling equipment.
 
The furnaces will be equipped with LOI Italimpianti low NOx burners to cope with the restrictive pollution requirements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Heat treating line 2 will include a spray quench system, descalers, and material handling devices to move pipes in between the hardening and tempering furnace.
