New Name, New President for Delta Steel Technologies
07/02/2013 - Under new president Joseph Savariego, Delta Brands Inc. has changed its name to Delta Steel Technologies (DST). The name change reflects the company’s focus on innovation, application engineering and mill duty construction.
Over the last year, the manufacturer’s design, planning, production and shipping and rigging capabilities were showcased in two industry milestone projects; the widest, thickest cut-to-length line (1 in. by 120 in.) and the world’s largest rotary shear able to cut 1 in. thick by 102 in. wide high-strength steel.
“The team at Delta is proud to build on a 49-year tradition of reliable, high-performance equipment,” says Savariego. “We continue to focus heavily on implementing quality improvements and we are actively recruiting the most talented, skilled design and field engineers in our industry to meet customer requirements. Our mission is to develop ongoing advances in equipment and services for the metal processing industry that will give our customers the competitive advantages they need.”
