New General Director Appointed at NLMK's Altai-Koks
06/14/2013 - The NLMK Group announced that Pavel Lizogub has been appointed general director of Altai-Koks. He is currently serving as NLMK deputy vice president (deputy head of strategic raw materials division).
The NLMK Group announced that Pavel Lizogub has been appointed general director of Altai-Koks. He is currently serving as NLMK deputy vice president (deputy head of strategic raw materials division). Pavel Lizogub managed Altai-Koks from 2006 to 2008.
Altai-Koks’ previous general director, Artur Andriyevsky, left the position following the expiration of his contract to take on a new job. He made a significant contribution to the development of the plant by boosting its capacities and ensuring stable production and the smooth operation of Altai-Koks within NLMK Group.
The key focus of the new general director will be on boosting operational and business process efficiency, and on personnel development.
Pavel Lizogub worked at NLMK's subsidiaries from 1998 to 2005. In 2005 he was NLMK’s head of coke production and in 2006 he was appointed general director of Altai-Koks. In 2008 he was made deputy vice president (deputy head of strategic raw materials division). He graduated from the Moscow State Automobile and Road Technical University and the Moscow State Institute for International Relations.
Altai-Koks is one of the largest coke plants in Russia. The company also produces a wide range of chemical products. It has a capacity of 4.4 million tonnes of coke per year. Altai-Koks has been part of NLMK Group since 2006.
