MMK Taps Danieli Service for HDGL Upgrade
09/28/2021 - The order included new chemical roll coaters for the two hot-dip galvanizing lines at MMK Metalurji’s plant in Dörtyol and Istanbul, Turkey, according to the equipment supplier.
In a press release on Monday, Danieli Service said the upgrade resulted in improved control and reduced scrap with the use of DanCoaters, which provide continuous control of position, pressure and other coating parameters.
The MMK and Danieli Service teams completed the upgrade during a maintenance shutdown.
