MMFX Steel Corporation of America Hires New Regional Sales Manager for Southwest U.S.

He will be responsible for driving sales and expanding the acceptance and use of MMFX products throughout his assigned region, which includes California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona, as well as other select states.

“Douglas’ industry knowledge and many years of sales and business development experience are a unique advantage to MMFX and its customers, his experience in launching new products with a demonstrated ability to grow into new regions, most recently relating to corrosion resistant steel reinforcement will serve us well ,” said Thomas J. Russo, CEO of MMFX Steel Corporation. “His background will be a great resource for public transportation agencies and private developers looking to reduce costs and extend life cycles of construction and development projects.”

Most recently, Douglas was West Coast business development manager for Gerdau Ameristeel North America in its long steel products division, where he was responsible for opening new markets and applications for the company’s corrosion-resistant products. Prior to joining Gerdau, he was president of Centurion Asset Protection Group, Inc., a financial services company that built relationships with small and midsized business owners. Douglas also worked as business development manager at Northrop Grumman Information Systems Division, a leading global provider of advanced software solutions for military, government and civilian markets.

Douglas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and management from the University of Redlands in Redlands, Calif.
