Mittal Steel was ranked the world's 253rd largest company in terms of revenues (US$22.2 billion) and 55th in terms of profits (US$4.7 billion).
In its sector, Mittal Steel ranked number 1 for profits, with a profit margin of 21%. The company was also ranked number 1 globally for the biggest increases in revenues, the biggest increases in profits and the highest returns on assets.
