Mississippi Steel Processing Orders Red Bud Precision Blanking Line
01/13/2014 - Mississippi Steel Processing, located in Columbus, Miss., has ordered a precision blanking line from Red Bud Industries which will be installed in late April 2014.
The new line will be able to cut and blank material up to .315” (8 mm) by 72” (1830 mm) at coil weights up to 90,000 lbs (40,823 kg).
It will consist of a coil stage and load system, uncoiler, peeler breaker, crop shear, dual roller levelers, inspection area, thread system, roll feed, shear, drop stacker, automatically lowering stack table, and end discharge rollouts.
