Dzierzak has worked in the construction industry for 40 years and joined GEM Inc. in 2000 as a senior project manager. He later was named division manager. 

Dzierzak holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and is a registered professional engineer in New York. 

Part of the Rudolph Libbe Group, GEM specializes in industrial process lines and facilities and mechanical and electrical upgrades and retrofits, among other things.
