Metinvest Reorganizes Its Communication Function

Russia's Metinvest, an international vertically integrated group of metals and mining companies, announced the reorganization of its communication function and establishment of the new PR and regional development directorate within the group.
The objective of the new directorate is to enhance the company's relations with the media, communities, and public organizations in areas where the company's enterprises are located.
Dmitriy Chechkin has been appointed PR and regional development director of Metinvest. Igor Kirilyuk , former corporate communications director of Metinvest , made ​​the decision to continue work outside the company.
Dmitry Chechkin has over 20 years of experience in Russian media and PR structures of the largest industrial companies. He took PR management positions in the aluminum businesses in Krasnoyarsk Territory and Irkutsk Region (Russian Federation). For eight years he held senior positions in public relations of Russia-based Uralkali , the world's leading potash fertilizers manufacturer.
Before Joining Metinvest, Mr. Chechkin was CEO of Rigmora (Monaco) and vice-president and board member of the Monaco Football Club.
