Metinvest continues to expand its distribution network with the opening of a Steel Service Center in Vinnitsa, Ukraine. It is the company’s second Steel Service Center in this western region of the country.
At the new Steel Service Center, the company plans to maintain a constant warehouse reserve of no less than 6,000 tonnes, represented by a complete product mix of rolled steel products produced by Metinvest Group enterprises: rebars, angles, beams, channels, plates, pipes, and other products. Three cranes work at the site, two of them travelling cranes and one a trestle crane with a loading capacity from 12 to 20 tonnes. Overall area of the Steel Service Center is 1288 m².
In addition to a wide product mix, the warehouse complex in Vinnitsa features availability of cutting and delivery services.
“Proximity to the client, the most complete product mix, and service are the basics for the development strategy of Metinvest Steel Service Centers. Therefore, we will continue to fortify our position and in 2012 plan to open several more Steel Service Centers in the western region of Ukraine,” said Albert Avanesov, General Director of LLC Metinvest-SMC.
