Metinvest Opens Sales Office and Warehouse in Bryansk
07/19/2013 - Metinvest Eurasia, LLC, Metinvest Group’s wholesale and retail channel in Russia, has expanded its distribution network in the Central Federal District by opening a new sales office and a warehouse in Bryansk.
Bryansk region is a large steel consumer, with convenient logistical connections to important centers in the Black Earth Belt of Russia, while also bordering Ukraine and Belarus. Metinvest Eurasia is a leader in the Central Black Earth Belt, supplying rolled steel to customers in the region through its distribution network in Belgorod and Voronezh.
The establishment of a warehouse in Bryansk will allow for improving the level of service and responsiveness with regards to the delivery of standard steel and customized products to customers from Bryansk, Smolensk and Oryol regions. In addition, this will provide an opportunity for quick mixed product shipments to buyers in Belarus.
Metinvest Eurasia’s warehouse in Bryansk will stock a broad range of steel products made by Metinvest Group’s steel mills: heavy plates, including industrial, hot and cold rolled and galvanized steel; beams; angles; channels; bent profiles; rebar; wire rod; and pipe. The warehouse has two gantry cranes with a capacity of 12.5 tonnes and a railway track to receive railcars, enabling quality and rapid shipments.
The fundamental principle of Metinvest Eurasia’s development is customer-focus. The opening of a new warehouse in Bryansk will allow for fully focusing efforts on the provision of effective logistics, service, a broad product range and favorable pricing to buyers in the Russian Black Earth Belt.
