Metalloinvest Automates Production Planning
09/08/2020 - The Russian manufacturer and supplier of iron ore products and hot briquetted iron is introducing a production scheduling system that is expected to save the company 90 million rubles per year, according to news site Metallurgprom.
The scheduling system allows for an optimal production plan based on information about orders and their priority, customer segmentation, process flow diagram and supply chain.
The first stage is planned to launch in the fall of 2021.
