April 3, 2006 — Maverick Tube Corp. announced that it has appointed Brion Talley as its Vice President—Steel Sourcing.

C. Robert Bunch, Maverick's Chairman and CEO, said, "We are very excited to have Brion as part of our team. As an experienced and well-respected member of the steel community, we expect him to be instrumental in directing and executing our raw material strategy."

Mr. Talley has been in the steel industry for 22 years, most recently as Vice President—Steel Division with JFE Shoji Trade America in Long Beach, Calif. He received his BA from the University of Maryland and his MBA from Pepperdine University.
