Maverick Tube Corp. announced the amalgamation of certain of its Canadian subsidiaries.

These amalgamations, which are related to the redemption of the exchangeable shares on September 30, 2005, are expected to take place December 31, 2005.

Maverick Tube Corp. is a St. Louis, Missouri, based manufacturer of welded tubular steel products used in the oil and natural gas industry, as well as industrial tubing products (steel electrical conduit, standard pipe, pipe piling, and mechanical tubing) used in various industrial applications.
