Matrix Technologies Names New President
07/06/2017 - Matrix Technologies Inc., a U.S.-based process and facilities design and automation engineering firm, has promoted a company veteran as president.
In his new role, David Blaida, who had served as an executive vice president, will take on responsibility for all of the firm’s production divisions and will continue to coordinate the sales and marketing department’s efforts.
David Bishop will remain as chief executive officer.
“From his first day of employment at Matrix, Dave has sought to learn as much as he could about our business and contribute in any way possible. Since becoming a shareholder in Matrix Technologies in 2000, Dave has been instrumental in expanding the influence of Matrix with new and existing manufacturing customers in a variety of industries,” Bishop said.
During Blaida’s 27-year tenure with Matrix, he has served in a variety of roles, including engineer, group leader, department manager, director of sales and marketing, and vice president.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Michigan Technological University and is a registered professional engineer in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Kansas.
