Liberty House Puts an Offer Down For U.K. Bar Producer
06/19/2017 - Metals entrepreneur Sanjeev Gupta and his Liberty House Group reportedly are making a rescue bid for an ailing bar and beam producer in the U.K.
According to The (London) Telegraph, the firm, which has been buying up distressed assets, has an offer on the table for Caparo Merchant Bar. The newspaper said the business finds itself in a cash crunch brought on by the rising price of steel billets.
