LGOK’s Quality Management System Re-Confirms Compliance with International Requirements
12/12/2014 - Lebedinsky GOK (part of Metalloinvest) has successfully passed the regular audit of its quality management system’s adherence to the ISO 9001:2008 international standard.
The leading auditors of the British certification agency BSI Management Systems carried out the audit covering the activities of LGOK’s key and auxiliary production departments, including its motor and railway transport unit, pellet plant, HBI plant, power supply, surveying and chief mechanic units, as well as sales, procurement, technical and HR departments. Special attention was paid to the metrology, quality control and customer satisfaction level.
According to auditors, Lebedinsky GOK’s quality management system complies with ISO 9001:2008 international standard. As such, the audit confirmed that the plant has the production process controls in place and that it delivers its products to customers in line with their requirements.
Anatoly Putyrsky, lead auditor of BSI Management Systems, commented: “The audit results are very good, we have not seen any deviations. The elements of the quality management system are at an appropriate level. The company streamlined the control system. All documentation complies with the requirements. At present, the level of the control system enables the Company to confidently manage the elements of its quality management system.
