Leeco Steel Opens Distribution Center in Houston

This is Leeco Steel’s second location in Texas and will be home to a sales and distribution center.

“We are making a substantial investment in Texas in an effort to better serve our customers and to take advantage of the potential business we’ve targeted while operating our Ft. Worth facility the past six years,” says Denton J. Nordhues, president and CEO of Leeco Steel.  “We are expanding our reach in a market we currently serve, and the Houston facility will allow us to provide enhanced service, increased commercial coverage, and further penetration into the region.  Houston is a perfect match with our strategic vision for Leeco Steel.”

The 67,000 square-foot facility is located in northwest Houston on property with space for future expansion. The building is equipped for efficient distribution with drive-through bays and rail service.

The distribution center will be fully operational in February 2014.
