Leading Steel Executives Debate Industry's Key Issues at AISTech 2015 Town Hall Forum

Panelists will discuss Steel 2015: Building, Innovating, Growing and will provide their insight on workforce development, production advancements, natural gas and DRI processes, market development and regulatory issues in regard to steel imports and public advocacy. Panel members will include:

•              George J. Koenig, president, Berry Metal Co.
•              Michael D. Lee, vice president and general manager, Nucor Steel–Decatur LLC
•              David J. Rintoul, senior vice president – tubular business, United States Steel Corporation
•              Richard P. Teets Jr., president and chief operating officer – steel operations, executive vice president, Steel Dynamics Inc.
AISTech 2015 will be held 4–7 May 2015 at the Cleveland Convention Center, Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and will offer a program with numerous technical and keynote presentations by today's business leaders, an expansive exposition and plant tours.
 
The Technology Conference will showcase more than 550 presentations on aspects of iron and steel manufacturing technology. Highlights include the latest environmental technologies throughout the iron- and steelmaking process; advancements in rolling and coating technologies; safe work practices and procedures for projects, production and maintenance; cutting-edge research and advancements in the processing, product development and application of steel; the latest in automation and control systems; and discussions on efficient material movement both within the facility and to the customer.
 
The Exposition offers attendees a chance to meet face-to-face with key individuals who specify, purchase, design, and operate a variety of plants and facilities associated with the production and processing of iron and steel. The 2015 Exposition is the largest yet, with 265,000 square feet of exhibit space, and will feature more than 500 domestic and international companies for an unrivaled display of global steel technology.
