She follows Steve Filipov, who is responsible for the entire Terex Material Handling & Port Solutions segment and was leading the unit on an interim basis.

Steve Filipov said: “We are very happy to have found an outstanding leader in Mrs. Schneeberger. She brings strong commercial and business strategy expertise to Terex and a track record of profitably growing global businesses.”

Mrs. Schneeberger explains her motivation to take over the worldwide leadership of Terex Material Handling: “Terex is a great company and Demag is a very well-known global brand in which I see a lot of potential and want to continue to develop based on its current strengths and success. The global footprint, the strong and innovative product portfolio and the excellent service offering were further aspects that were crucial to me.”

Until now, Mrs Schneeberger had been working for Trelleborg AB, a Swedish-based company and leader in industrial engineered products and solutions. For the last eight years, she led Strategic Business Development for the group and Global Sales & Marketing for Trelleborg’s Industrial Solutions business area.

Prior to Trelleborg, she worked in Germany for ten years and has had leading Strategy, Business Development and Commercial roles for IXOS/Open Text Corporation, IconMedialab AG, and IMP/Meister Verlag AG.

Susanna Schneeberger holds Masters degrees in International Business and European Affairs from Lund University, Sweden. She is fluent in Swedish, German and English. She is moving to the region with her family: “I have throughout my whole career worked internationally and lived and worked abroad for twelve years, ten of which were in Germany.
