Largest Steel Industry Conference Opens on Monday in Pittsburgh

There will be three major media events during the four-day program:
Richard J. Harshman, Chairman, president and chief executive officer, Allegheny Technologies, Inc., will deliver the keynote address, “Specialty Metals: Creating Value Through Relentless Innovation in a Dynamic, Global Industry,” at the annual President’s Award Breakfast, at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, 7 May.
Harshman; John P. Surma, chairman and chief executive officer, United States Steel Corporation; Joon Yang Chung, chairman and chief executive officer, POSCO; and other steel executives will host a question-and-answer session for the media immediately following the President’s Award Breakfast.
The AISTech Town Hall Forum will take place on Wednesday, 8 May at 8:30 a.m., during which a panel of the industry’s top executives from Tenova HYL, ArcelorMittal USA, United States Steel Corporation, EVRAZ North America, Tata Steel and Nucor-Yamato Steel will debate global steel industry issues, concerns and opportunities.
