Lake Area United Way Presents Community Spirit Award to AIST Member

Bob Scott, Lake Area United Way senior relationship manager, and campaign chair Aaron McDermott presented AIST member Andrea Pearman of Diversified Marketing Strategies and her team with the Community Spirit Award for their incredible fundraising efforts.
 
Diversified Marketing Strategies has generated over US$35,000 in support of the Lake Area United Way through dynamic event-planning, fundraising, and multimedia marketing.  Their events, such as the Big Schmooze and Influential Women of Northwest Indiana, have made significant contributions to Lake Area United Way and their partners throughout the community. These events have excelled at promoting Lake Area United Way to Northwest Indiana’s most influential business and labor leaders.
 
Furthermore, Diversified Marketing Strategies publishes Building Indiana, the largest business-to-business magazine in the state, which has featured Lake Area United Way in editorial news articles, guest commentaries, and public service advertisements. In this way, Diversified Marketing Strategies has broadcast the Lake Area United Way’s powerful mission to over 60,000 readers throughout the state.
 
Andrea Pearman, the company’s CEO and creative commander, is also personally invested in United Way, and is responsible for a generous financial gift to United Way each year.
