Konecranes Opens New Overhead Crane Service Branch in Louisiana
02/12/2013 - Konecranes, a global leader in the manufacturing and servicing of overhead cranes and lifting equipment, announced the opening of a new service branch in Sulphur, La., to serve the southwest Louisiana area.
Konecranes, a global leader in the manufacturing and servicing of overhead cranes and lifting equipment, announced the opening of a new service branch in Sulphur, La., to serve the southwest Louisiana area.
This closer branch will help customers in the area by decreasing the time between a requested service visit and when a Konecranes technician or inspector can be at their plant. The branch hopes to hire six new technicians from the local area, reflecting Konecranes’ dedication to helping create jobs.
“We are very excited about the opening of this new branch,” said Philip Olmsted, service supervisor. “It is a wonderful opportunity to continue to offer excellent service to all our customers in the area, and we are eager to add more skilled technicians to our team.”
The Sulphur branch will offer all of Konecranes’ standard crane services, such as inspections, scheduled preventive maintenance, repairs, parts and modernizations.
