Konecranes Appoints New Executive Vice President, Head of Business Area Equipment
04/14/2014 - Ryan Flynn is returning to Konecranes Plc and has been appointed executive vice president and head of Business Area Equipment.
Mr. Flynn will be a member of the Konecranes Group Executive Board and will report to Pekka Lundmark, president and CEO. Mr. Flynn will start in his new position on 1 June 2014.
Ryan Flynn has held the position of vice president, strategy & business development at BlueScope Steel, Global Building Solutions since 2013. In 2005–2013, Mr. Flynn worked at Konecranes Plc as the senior vice president, head of Region Asia-Pacific and director, Port Cranes & Lifttrucks, Northeast & Southeast Asia. All the above-mentioned duties were located in Shanghai, China. Mr. Flynn has previous working experience in Johannesburg, South Africa, at NFS Industrial Machinery (Pty) Limited, Afinta Motor Corporation and Standard Bank.
Ryan Flynn was born in 1971 and holds BCom and MBA degrees.
