KOCKS Bags Order for Rolling Mill Upgrade
04/12/2021 - India’s Arjas Steel Private Ltd. has ordered a Friedrich KOCKS GmbH & Co. KG reducing and sizing block for its special bar quality (SBQ) mill in Tadipatri.
According to an announcement, the installation of the block is part of a rolling mill modernization project intended to strengthen its SBQ market position, particularly with the automotive sector.
The new block will be used to produce straight round bar in diameters ranging from 16 mm to 65 mm and hexagonal bars in diameters ranging from 18.5 mm to 40.5 mm.
Commissioning is scheduled for the middle of next year.
