Kentucky Cold-Rolling Processing Plant Opens for Business
06/07/2017 - Germany’s Bilstein Group has opened its U.S. cold-rolled mill in Kentucky, with the first coils having rolled off the line in May.
Bilstein Cold Rolled Steel president and chief executive Mark Loik told the Bowling Green (Ky.) Daily News that the plant will be ramping up to 35,000 tons of processed strip production annually.
The plant, which includes a slitting operation, represents a US$130 million investment.
