JSW Steel Sees Indian Steel Demand Growing

01/30/2024 - India’s JSW Steel is forecasting that Indian steel demand could grow 8% to 10% in the next few years, driven in part by infrastructure construction, according to the company’s managing director.

“We anticipate that by end of this decade India would consume anywhere between 200 million tons to 210 million tons of steel,” Jayant Acharya, JSW steel joint managing director, told Bloomberg Television during an interview.
