JSW Steel Posts 8% growth in Crude Steel Production in February

JSW Steel Ltd reported the production of 541,000 tonnes of crude steel in February 2011, reflecting an 8% growth compared to 502,000 tonnes in February of 2010.
 
In February, the company also produced 442,000 tonnes of flat rolled steel, reflecting a 48% growth over 300,000 tonnes of flat rolled steel in February 2010, as well as 75,000 tonnes of long steel products, a 22% decrease compared to 96,000 tonnes of long steel products in February 2010.
