JSW Outlines Digital Transformation Agenda for Smart Steel Factories

09/17/2021 - JSW Steel has unveiled sweeping plans to transform its Indian steelmaking operations to a smart steel manufacturing network powered through Industry 4.0 technology, reports the Hindu Business Line newspaper.

According to the Business Line, JSW will invest in more than 200 digitalization projects over the next three years. JSW’s Vijayanagar Works will be the first facility to be fully converted to a smart factory in 2023, followed by Dolvi Works, Salem Works, and finally JSW’s downstream operations and joint ventures.
