JSC Liepajas metalurg Plans to Restart Production as Dalpolimetall Shows Interest in the Company

Major shareholders of mining and metallurgical company Dalpolimetall are very much interested in the Latvian company Liepājas metalurgs. It was confirmed by Dalpolimetall council chairman Eduard Yanakov, “If we manage to reach agreement with the shareholders and the creditors’ club, we are ready to start production at the company in three to four weeks.”
Major shareholders of Dalpolimetall are Vadim Varshavski and Eduard Yanakov. The open joint stock company Dalpolimetall is one of the biggest mining and metallurgical complexes in the Far East Russia and deals with geological research, mining and processing of polimetal ores — lead, zinc, silver and gold. This group of companies includes also volfram mining companies. V. Varshavski and E. Yanakov are also the founders of Russkij ugoļ and metalurgical company ESTAR.
