Job Candidates Line Up for Work at New Rebar Mill
08/28/2019 - Nucor Corp. is need of about 100 more people to fill out the payroll at its rebar mill in Sedalia, Mo., USA. But it shouldn’t have to look too hard – approximately 2,300 people have applied for any of the 250 available positons, according to regional economic development officials.
“We’re working with State Fair Community College, the state Department of Economic Development and Nucor to try to get some folks trained and ready to go on day one,” Rob Dixon, Missouri Department of Economic Development director, told the online publication Missourinet.
