Japanese Mill Launches Production of Spooled Rebar
11/06/2018 - Japan’s Topy Industries Ltd. has started up its new spooled rebar line and a new finishing block at its Toyohashi bar plant, reports the equipment supplier on the project.
According to Danieli, the K-Spool line is designed to coil up 240,000 metric tons annually of D10, D13 and D16 rebar. The line, which has two horizontal spooling stations, can produce spools in weights ranging from 1 metric ton to 3.5 metric tons.
The company also installed a two-pass fast finishing block with a Hi-Profile measuring system, Danieli said.
