The decision follows a recent affirmative finding by the Department of Commerce, as well as the Commission’s subsequent determination that revoking the existing order would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time. All six Commissioners voted in the affirmative.
The five-year (sunset) review concerning Ferrovanadium and Nitrided Vanadium from Russia was instituted on May 1, 2006. On August 4, 2006, the Commission voted to conduct an expedited review.
