According to Danieli, which supplied the equipment, the mill is designed to annually produce 750,000 tons of plain wire rod in diameters ranging from 5.5 mm to 25 mm and rebar in diameters ranging from 6 mm to 18 mm. The mill has an operating speed of 100 m/second. 

Danieli said the mill consists of a high-speed rougher feeding two independent rolling lines that have cantilevered roll stands with quick roll changes and temperature control. 

The project was completed in 19 months.
