03/22/2012 - ArcelorMittal has awarded a contract to ISRA Vision Parsytec to supply an inspection system for the company’s Eisenhüttenstadt site in Germany.

The new inspection system will feature the unique Dual Sensor™ technology, with upper and lower sides of the steel strip inspected by a combination of line and matrix cameras, guaranteeing outstanding defect recognition.
The new system will enable the reliable detection of defects with extremely low contrasts —defects that are almost invisible to the naked eye.
In addition to providing reliable inspection, the system also generates analysis results for the complete range of materials produced.
