Investment Firm Eyes Green Steel, Low-CO2 Tech Investments
05/02/2023 - Private equity firm Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. is looking to invest in green steelmaking and intends to raise US$15 billion to invest in low-carbon technologies, reports Bloomberg.
According to Bloomberg, the firm will launch the Brookfield Global Transition Fund II, which will invest in green hydrogen and carbon capture projects, alongside more established investments in wind, solar and batteries.
