Indonesian Steelmaker Sets March Start-Up for New Blast Furnace
01/30/2017 - Indonesia’s Krakatau Steel is wrapping up construction on a US$500 million blast furnace and expects to put into production by March, reports The Jakarta Post newspaper.
According to The Post, the furnace, which had been delayed due to falling steel prices, will be capable of producing 1.2 million
metric tons annually.
