Indian Steel Production Crosses 100M Ton Threshold
01/11/2018 - For the first time in its history, India’s annual crude steel production has exceeded 100 million metric tons.
According to the Press Trust of India, producers made nearly 101.2 million metric tons during 2017. India is the world’s third largest steel producer, but is close to overtaking Japan as the No. 2 producer.
