Hyundai Steel Names New R&D Executive
02/18/2019 - Hyundai Steel has hired a former POSCO executive to oversee its research and development activities, reports the English-language Korea JoongAng Daily newspaper.
According to the newspaper, the appointment of Ahn Dong-il to the position is part of an effort to improve its competitiveness in advanced steels, among other areas.
“With the new appointment, we hope to overcome some of the difficult market conditions we are facing and improve our business competitiveness,” a Hyundai spokesperson told the newspaper.
