Hot Metal Production Resuming at Indiana Steel Works Following Flood
12/06/2019 - United States Steel Corporation has restarted two of its Gary, Ind., USA, blast furnaces after a flood knocked them off-line last week, reports commodities news and pricing service S&P Global Platts.
Platts also said a third furnace is to come back up early next week. None of the furnaces were damaged, and customers were not impacted, Platts said.
