Herr-Voss Stamco recently received an order from a service center for an ELT^™cut-to-length line. This is the fourth installation of Herr-Voss Stamco’s ELT^™ in the last 18 months.

This line will process high strength steel with a thickness range of 0.125" to 0.500" x 96" wide. Herr-Voss Stamco’s ELT^™ cut-to-length lines include a new patent pending state-of-the-art control system, which provides operators with immediate feedback on the consistency of enhancement for all sheets processed. The line also includes the industry-leading Herr-Voss Stamco precision corrective leveler.

Herr-Voss Stamco says its new ELT^™ Enhanced Leveling Technology is a superior method for producing stay-flat material during and after post processing by lasers, plasma, and water jet cutting. This technology can be deployed as part of a new cut-to-length line, a compliment to an existing cut-to-length line, or as a stand-alone process with the ability to enhance individual sheets. Enhancing Leveling Technology has proven to be more operationally efficient than current methods while costing considerably less than alternative processes, the company says.
