Herr-Voss Stamco ELT™ Technology Now Available for Light Gauge Materials
01/04/2013 - In response to strong customer interest, Herr-Voss Stamco has expanded its ELT™ Enhanced Leveling Technology delivery system capability to include lighter gauge ranges for the stay-flat material demands of the laser cutting and fabrication markets.
In response to strong customer interest, Herr-Voss Stamco has expanded its ELT™ Enhanced Leveling Technology delivery system capability to include lighter gauge ranges for the stay-flat material demands of the laser cutting and fabrication markets. The light gauge delivery system will accommodate materials from .250” down to .060” in thickness.
Herr-Voss Stamco, the leading supplier of coil processing solutions, introduced Enhanced Leveling Technology to offer customers more competitive advantages in producing stay-flat material.
ELT™ offers maximum versatility as it can be deployed as part of a new cut-to-length line, a complement to an existing cut-to-length line, or with the ability to enhance individual sheets as a stand-alone process. The repeatable nature of the process yields the most consistent product by subjecting the material to severe and uniform bending through its entire length and width, as compared to the broadly unfocused work done by stretching a fixed length of material between two grippers. Efficiency of the cut-to-length line is not affected by Enhanced Leveling Technology. Unlike with a stretcher, the process does not have to be stopped to do the work. ELT™ offers all of these competitive advantages at a significantly lower cost.
