Here’s How Much Steel China is Forecast to Have Produced in 2019
12/12/2019 - China’s crude steel production is expected to reach 988 million metric tons this year, but decline slightly in 2020, according to the Reuters news service.
“Steel consumption in 2019 is better than expected mainly due to rapidly growing infrastructure investment and real estate development, while industrial production is also generally stable,” said Li Xinchuang, president of the China Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute, according to Reuters.
