Harvey Industries Completes Acquisition of R.E. Phelon Company

Harvey Industries Die-Casting, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvey Industries, LLC has acquired substantially all the assets of the die-casting operations of R.E. Phelon Company, Inc. located in Aiken, S.C.
The operation has proforma annual sales of approximately $24M, 130 employees and has 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
The acquisition expands the company’s geographic footprint, builds on its capabilities of manufacturing aluminum castings, and results in various synergistic benefits for Harvey Industries and its customers and suppliers.
Harvey Industries, LLC is a leading provider of high-quality aluminum and iron castings, machining, assembly, and polymer injection molding. Headquartered in Livonia, Mich., Harvey Industries operates out of four plants strategically located in Wabash, Ind.; Westland, Mich.; Aiken, S.C.; and Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.
R.E. Phelon Company, Inc. (Die-Casting) designs and manufactures engine electronics, ignition systems, alternator-stators, charging systems, and voltage regulators. The company’s aluminum die-casting operations produces flywheels, castings, and components used in the lawn and garden, power generation, commercial lighting, appliance, and industrial markets.
