Harsco Receives Two Mill Services Contracts in the U.S.
01/18/2010 - Harsco Corp. is the recipient of two multiyear specialty metal processing services contracts, including one at a new operating location for Harsco, worth as much as $70 million over their duration. Both contracts are with specialty metals producer ATI Allegheny Ludlum.
Harsco Corp. is the recipient of two multiyear specialty metal processing services contracts, including one at a new operating location for Harsco, worth as much as $70 million over their duration.
The contracts, both with specialty metals producer ATI Allegheny Ludlum, call for a range of onsite byproduct handling and metal recovery services at two of Allegheny Ludlum’s larger facilities, its Midland, Pa., and Brackenridge, Pa., plants in Western Pennsylvania.
Harsco has provided services at the Brackenridge site since 1972, and will now add similar services at the Midland plant, where Allegheny Ludlum produces high-quality stainless steel slabs. Harsco also provides onsite services to Allegheny Ludlum’s Latrobe, Pa., specialty metals plant.
