According to Harsco Corp., the joint venture’s scope of work includes scrap treatment and handling, meltshop logistics, underfurnace cleaning, ladle slag handling and slag processing. The 10-year agreement represents approximately US$210 million in new revenue, the company said. 

The plant’s initial commissioning is set to take place in March.
